MagThera brings permanent magnets into the design of a space for regeneration. The cabin combines natural ferrite magnets, selected materials and a hexagonal structure in a passive wellness environment. The experience of using it is presented below, alongside findings from testing by the BION Institute.

MagThera is a natural magnetism cabin designed as a supportive wellness environment made from natural materials.
The design is based on the interaction of natural materials with magnetic fields and optimised spatial geometry. A multilayer structure of organic and inorganic materials, combined with biomagnetic elements, helps create a stable and balanced magnetic environment intended to support users’ wellbeing.

Summary of testing
Testing by the BION Institute showed increased relaxation while maintaining alertness.
The MagThera cabin was tested in a double-blind study to evaluate its influence on physiological parameters of rest and regeneration. The research was led by the BION Institute in Ljubljana.
Testing took place from 16 December 2025 to 11 February 2026, with 16 volunteers. Each participant underwent a 30-minute measurement in both the active cabin and the control cabin, in a randomised order.
The total of 160 measurements represents 16 volunteers × 2 test conditions × 5 physiological parameters, not 160 participants. Detailed results for individual parameters are not published in the summary report.

More about the protocol and statistical analysis
Before entering, volunteers drank magnetised water, removed excess clothing and took off their shoes, following the client’s protocol. The report states an amount of 1.5 ml. This describes the research procedure and is not guidance for everyday use.
For each parameter, a geometric median was calculated for each minute of measurement. Each 30-minute measurement was divided into two 15-minute periods. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test, Benjamini–Hochberg correction for multiple comparisons and Cohen’s standardised effect size were used.
Summary report findings
Increased relaxation while maintaining alertness
The combined analysis showed statistically significant differences between the MagThera cabin and the control placebo condition. The report described the primary effect as increased relaxation while maintaining alertness.
This is a state in which the body is deeply relaxed, the nervous system is balanced and awareness remains clear. Such a state is often associated with increased activity of the parasympathetic nervous system and the vagus nerve, supporting regeneration, physiological balance and the body’s resilience.
What was compared?
The physiological responses of the same volunteers while sitting in the active MagThera cabin and in a visually identical control placebo cabin.
How should the finding be understood?
The report supports a finding of relaxation with maintained alertness under the conditions of this study. It does not guarantee the same response for every user.
